Our membership is currently full.

​Woodlawn Pottery Studio is Toronto's oldest pottery co-operative, with a membership of 21 experienced potters. 

Membership Application Process
If you are an experienced potter and interested in becoming a member of Woodlawn Pottery Studio, complete and submit the Membership Application below. When a space becomes available, selected applicants will be invited for an interview. Applicants will be asked to bring physical samples of their pottery for review. 

Please note: Membership at Woodlawn is suitable for experienced potters who can work independently and are willing to participate cooperatively in studio operations.

​If you're looking to continue building your skills with instruction, please visit our Class offerings!
Membership privileges and responsibilities:
  • Members may use all studio equipment, including kilns (with appropriate experience and operating knowledge).
  • Members may use the studio independently, providing their own clay and tools.
  • Members must complete duties related to studio cleaning, maintenance, and glaze preparations.
  • Members must attend studio meetings.
  • Members are mandated to fulfill a Board position once every 2 years.
  • Members are required to support in the planning and participate as vendors in the annual members’ show and sale.
  • New members are assigned a 'buddy' to facilitate the introduction to studio assignments, procedures, and equipment.

    ​Full information on member privileges and responsibilities will be made available during applicant interviews.
